Directions
Trim and blanch the beans; set aside.Cook onions in butter or olive oil on low/medium heat. Once the beans begin to caramelize, add butter, mushrooms, salt, and pepper. After a few minutes, add some liquid (used reserved pasta water from another dish). Finish cooking, and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, then add green beans and season with sea salt. Toss them in the pan occasionally until they become blistered. Then add the mushroom and onions mixture to the pan and cook down the remaining liquid.
