Homemade Granite Cleaner & Disinfectant

⭐ ⭐ ⭐   Excellent!

Ingredients

1/2 cup alcohol — rubbing or cheap vodka
3 drops of dish or Castile soap
2 cups of water
5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil

Directions

Start by pouring the alcohol into the spray bottle, followed by the dish soap.
Next, add several drops of essential oil
Then add the water.

Notes

Keep in mind that homemade cleaners with acid (e.g., vinegar) will degrade the granite countertop sealing over time. They are quite useful for electric stovetop ranges, but not granite.

My favorite essential oil for this mix is called "happiness" from Nature's Truth and is a blend of cedarwood, lemon, spearmint, grapefruit, tangerine, myrtle, nutmeg, and jasmine oils.
