Sausage Stuffed JalapeƱos

Ingredients

1 lb Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Regular Roll Sausage
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
32 medium fresh jalapeƱo peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
+ Green bell peppers for anti-spice people

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
2. Cook Sausage in large skillet over MEDIUM-HIGH heat 8-10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently, drain, place in Medium Bowl.
3. Add cream cheese and cheddar cheese; mix well.
4. Fill each pepper with a generous portion of sausage mixture; press lightly into peppers to secure. (Filling should mound slightly above top edges of peppers.)
4. Place on light greased baking sheet or in the broiler pan.
5. Bake 10 minutes or until peppers are crisp-tender and filling slightly browned.
6. Baking the popper on the indented top of a broiler pan will help hold the peppers upright and prevent the filling from spilling out.

Notes

May serve with ranch dressing (8 oz), optional
